It’s best to apply for prior approval as early as possible. You can request cover or prior approval online in My Southern Cross or via the app. As part of this approval we will confirm whether the healthcare service is covered under your policy, and if any conditions may apply.
As part of the prior approval process, you may be asked to supply some additional information like a letter from your specialist or an estimate of cost.
